Ciao readers! Lo so, è tanto che non pubblicavo niente, però torno in pompa magna con "Q"uno dei capolavori del collettivo Luther Blissett (ho scoperto essere l'incubatrice da cui uscirà il collettivo Wu Ming, altro collettivo di artisti bravissimi).

Il libro è un romanzo storico, è la storia di un uomo dai mille nomi che viaggerà per tutta l'Europa per sconfiggere le ingiustizie e i soprusi del suo tempo, l'epoca della controriforma. Purtroppo in ogni avventura sarà sconfitto perché vittima di un nemico terribile, una spia al soldi di monsignore Pietro Caraffa, molto spesso i loro destini s'incroceranno, ma solo alla fine si legheranno.
Il nome di questa spia, l'antagonista del racconto è Q.
The book is an historic novel, it is the story of a man with many names who will travel across Europe to defeat the injustices and abuses of his time, the era of the Counter-Reform. Unfortunately in every adventure he will be defeated because he is the victim of a terrible enemy, a spy paid by Monsignor Pietro Caraffa, very often their destinies will cross, but just in the end they will bind.
The name of this spy, the novel's antagonist is Q.
La storia è narrata in prima persona, ma il collettivo trova altri modi per raccontare le vicende, fa ampio uso di pagine di diario e lettere.
I personaggi sono molto curati, tridimensionali, senza contare che alcuni li ho trovati molto dinamici.
La lettura l'ho trovata inizialmente confusa, ma siate pazienti e scoprirete uno dei migliori libri storici in circolazione.

The characters are very accurate, three-dimensional, not to mention that some I found them very dynamic.

Perché leggerlo? Perché è in libro che ci fa sprofondare nell'epoca delle riforme, ci fa vivere ed esplorare il mondo, iniziamo a Wittenberg fino ad arrivare a Costantinopoli. Viaggiamo con l'uomo dai molti nomi per quasi cinquantanni. Inoltre lo stile è bellissimo, anelassi, prolessi, pagine di diario concise e lettere piene di omaggi e buon costume. Ho adorato la descrizione delle lingue. Il miscuglio linguistico di Anversa e il meticciaggio linguistico veneziano.
Ad arricchire il tutto, alla fine del libro, immediatamente dopo i ringraziamenti, troviamo mappe, città e i volti di alcuni dei più importanti personaggi che troverete nell'opera

Insomma, un libro che merita di essere letto e diffuso. Molto spesso criticato e attaccato per motivi politici-sociali. Non perdetevelo, ve lo consiglio vivamente.
