Salve Readers! Oggi voglio parlarvi di uno dei più bei libri di poesia che mi sia mai capitato di leggere, sto parlando de "Il Profeta" di Gibran Kahlil Gibran. Un'opera che avrebbe un milione di sfaccettature da analizzare, ma siccome l'intento del blog è dare consigli più che recensire per filo e per segno non mi dilungherò inutilmente.

Hi Readers! Today I want to talk about one of the beauy books of poetry that I've ever read, I'm talking about "The Prophet" by Gibran Kahlil Gibran. A work that would have a milion of facetsto analyze, but the goal of the blog is to give advice rather than review in detail I shall not dwell uselessly.

Vi ho amato tutti.

Salve Readers, come va? Stressato da tutta una serie di motivi che non starò qui a raccontarvi, esco per farmi un paio di birre con qualche amico (datemi retta è la miglior panacea per l'anima in queste situazioni); nonché a fine serata cominciamo a parlare di persone ormai scomparse... neanche a dirlo mi si stringe lo stomaco. In più di qualche occasione mi sono ritrovato ad invidiare quelle persone che riescono a farsi scivolare i problemi degli altri addosso come acqua su un k-way, ma purtroppo non è il mio caso. Insomma combinando l'enorme senso di mal de vivre dell'attimo, alla vena creativa derivata dall'alcol ho scritto questa poesia, sciocca, forse non bella o illuminante, ma per me ha una certa importanza, almeno in questo momento. Ve la lascio qua sotto.

Hi guys, today I want to tell you about a poem that I loved from the first moment. I discovered it by accident, I heard its interpretation on a youtube video. The poem in question is "What the Use of a Title" by Charles Bukowski.

I love when poetry does not crystallize only on the pages of the book but it is read aloud.

L'ho trovata veramente carina, mi ha fatto venire voglia di saperne qualcosa in più riguardo l'autore e la sua opera, così cercando su internet ho scoperto che fa parte del libro "Ricompense e Fate" ("Rewards and Fairies").
