How Art will Save Humanity.

Art saves us from the banality of everyday grey, art is the instrument capable of melting our convictions, like fire with wax.

We live with our feet firmly welded to the ground and look at our small and insignificant world. We don't see, for a variety range of factors, as everythings is nothing.

What makes us different from animals beyond our ability to kill us massively? Art.

Art is that human creation activity, concrete or abstract, which since thousands years makes us a little less animals. A bit higher than the crude animal state from which we come.

This feature, entirely human, has a special ability, it ignores places and ages.

It's foolish to think about the similarity between our anxiety states and those described by Tolstoy in 1877 in Anna Karenina. 

The state of exhilaration of the soldier kissing the nurse after the WWII sends us a sense of positivity. 

Or understand from Delacroix's painting "Freedom Driving the People", the spirit of the force of human will in the picture.

In conclusion, Beyond the mere propaganda or commemorative use, Art for me is that activity that allows us to break down the mental frontiers and travel in search of something more.

In this wretched era, in my opinion, the task of Art must be the education to dematerialization, to the desecration of wealth as the only idol.

I don't say to do like St. Francis, I always doubt martyrs, especially during this time.

But we cannot even focus our lives on the economic gain alone. I do not conceive of things like:

"I study because I want to make money. I do that particular job because it makes me earn".

In conclusion, we need art to abstract ourselves to this materialistic conception of the human being, to evaporate in spirits that echo in other dimensions of humanity. to scream at the world to wake up, to look how this is nothing, a mere blink of eyelashes in the history of an entity.

Humanity will be remembered for the pyramids, for the Colosseum, for its paintings, for the utopian and fantastic writings, for the musical pentagrams and statues. It will not be remembered for yatch or off-road machines.

Come l'Arte salverà l'umanità. L'arte salva dalla banalità del grigio quotidiano, l'arte è quello strumento capace di fra sciogliere le nostre convinzioni, come fuoco con la cera.

Viviamo con i piedi saldamente saldati a terra e lo sguardo rivolto al nostro piccolo e insignificante mondo. Non vediamo, per tutta una serie di fattori, quanto tutto è nulla. 

Cos'è che ci differenzia dagli animali oltre la nostra capacità di ammazzarci in massa? L'arte. 

L'arte è quell'attività umana di creazione, concreta o astratta, che da millenni ci rende un po' meno animali. Un po' più elevati del rozzo stato animale dal quale veniamo.

Questa caratteristica tutta umana ha una capacità speciale, prescinde luoghi ed epoche. 

Assurdo pensare alla somiglianza fra i nostri stati di ansia e quelli descritti da Tolstoj, nel 1877, in Anna Karenina.

Oppure carpire dall'opera La libertà che guida il popolo di Delacroix, lo spirito della forza della volontà umana nel quadro. 

Insomma, al di là del mero uso propagandistico o mecenatisco, l'arte per me è quell'attività che ci permettere di abbattere le frontiere mentali e viaggiare alla ricerca di qualcosa in più. In quest'era sciagurata, a mio avviso, il compito dell'Arte deve essere quello dell'educazione alla dematerializzazione, alla sconsacrazione della ricchezza come unico idolo.

Non dico di divenire San Francesco, dubito sempre dei martiri, in questo periodo particolarmente. Ma non possiamo incentrare neanche la nostra vita unicamente sul guadagno economico. Non concepisco cose come: "Studio perché voglio far soldi. Faccio quel lavoro particolare perché mi fa guadagnare".

Per concludere: Arte per astrarci da questa concezione materialista dell'essere umano, per evaporare in spiriti che riecheggieranno in altre dimensioni dell'umanità, urlando al mondo di svegliarsi, di guardare, di vedere finalmente quanto questo sia nulla, un mero battito di ciglia nella storia di un'entità. 

L'umanità sarà ricordata per le piramidi, per il Colosseo, per i suoi quadri, per gli scritti utopici e fantastici, per i pentagrammi musicali e le sue statue. Non sarà ricordata per gli yatch o le macchine fuori serie.

Trascendete il vostro essere!
